Who's The Idiot?

Bheja Fry is a film by Sagar Ballary, as you may know by now.

The main character is that of Bharat Bhushan- an aspiring singer, a typical middle class, government employee who holds his values above everything else. Then there's Ranjit Thadani- a corrupt, unfaithful, self centered, arrogant business man who makes fun of innocent people by inviting one of them to dinner every friday.

At the beginning of the film, you might find the character of BB annoying. But in the end, the director brings about the contrast between the two characters and you can decide who is the 'idiot' between the two.

What I liked in the film is how BB exhibits values like patriotism, gratitude (to his father, guru and the institution where he studied), loyalty(to his unfaithful wife), friendship, generosity, helping nature and most of all sincerity.

Why should he be called an idiot?
