Modesty Please

I was watching an old hindi film on T.V last week. It was probably made in the 80s featuring Amol Palekar and Vidya Sinha. I couldn't help but wonder how simple life was then. Offices closed at 5. Heroines wore sarees. Only the 'bad' girls wore short/revealing clothes.

I hate where Bollywood fashion is going now. It's disgusting. Why are our women dropping their clothes so  quickly? What happened to good old fashioned modesty?

Despite being used to watching the movies and videos these days, I was really shocked by a trailor on T.V for this show (ironically) called 'Dress Circle'. I can't remember which channel aired this one. It showed the program's host- a woman posing in her innerwear which I am sure wasn't what the program was about. 

What's the world coming to? Aren't we ashamed or shocked anymore?
