A Pleasant Surprise

One of life's pleasant surprises is finding out that an old friend is there in the new city that you have moved in to. I was surprised and happy to receive an email from one of my school friends last month. Turned out she was also in Mumbai and not very far from where I live! I was happy to know that I have at least one friend here in this city where I hardly know anyone. Now we talk over the phone for several minutes a day about many things. Domestic issues top the list though as both of us are married and at home.
