Unreliable Service

A senior manager in my previous company where I worked said that she can't allow employees to work from home as the Internet connection and electricity is unreliable in our country. The work from home option is available to our American counterparts. I didn't agree with her then but now I see that Internet connection can be frustrating. We definitely can't depend on it to do our work from home. It's annoying to have to pay first and also to pray that it connects.
